Citizen’s Academy

About The Academy

Explore the problems and challenges faced by law enforcement and learn how your police department meets those challenges. You will get a better understanding of the process from the moment a crime is reported through its investigation. Observe and participate in demonstrations using some of the latest technology available to your local Crime Scene Investigations Unit, Bomb Disposal Unit, Response Team and Hostage Negotiators! You’ll also discover programs that have allowed the police department to partner with businesses, schools and citizens to prevent crime!

Time & Location

Classes for this free program will be held Wednesday nights from 6pm – 9pm at the Law Enforcement Center and other locations around the community.
