Parking meters may be hooded, as per City Code, for specific reasons.
To be eligible, the business must meet the requirements in the City Code section 10.60.220.
The fee for hooding a parking meter is governed by City Code, and effective January 1, 2023 $20.00 per day, per hood and $30.00 for Kansas Ave. per day, per stall.
Billing will be monthly and can be made by personal check, cashier check, money order, cash, or accept credit or debit cards. There is a $30.00 fee for returned checks.
