Emergency Funding

Applicant: Homeowner Occupant

  • Funding Type: Forgivable Grant
  • Funding Limits: $1,500 per Occurrence / $15,000 Lifetime Limit
  • Conditions/Requirements: Mortgage will be placed on property after the first $1,500 is granted. It will be 100% forgiven after 5 years of ownership. Below 30% no service call needed.*
  • Income Limit: 60% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Furnace, water heater pipes, roofs or other items of immediate health and safety (no mold or foundations)

Accessebility Funding

Applicant: Homeowner Occupant

  • Funding Type: Grant
  • Funding Limits: $4,999 (internal) / $6,000 (external) / $10,500 Total
  • Conditions/Requirements: All work will be a grant with no mortgage required.*
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Ramps, widening of front door, grab bars, high rise toilet, walk in shower

Applicant: Renter

  • Funding Type: Grant
  • Funding Limits: $4,000 (external)
  • Conditions/Requirements: All work will be a grant with no mortgage required.*
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Ramps, widening of front door

Rental Rehab (SORT/DREAMS)

Applicant: Landlord

  • Funding Type: Forgivable Grant
  • Funding Limits: $15,000 Max
  • Conditions/Requirements: Landlord pays 10% down. Mortgage will be 100% forgiven after 5 years of ownership.*
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Siding, windows, HVAC

Major Rehab (SORT/DREAMS)

Applicant: Owner Occupant

  • Funding Type: Forgivable Grant
  • Funding Limits: $30,000 / $5,000 lead
  • Conditions/Requirements: Mortgage will be placed on property after the first lead portion is granted.  Mortgage will be 100% forgiven after 5 years of ownership.*
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Whole house – items prioritized to meet standard

TOTO Rehab

Applicant: Home Buyer

  • Funding Type: Forgivable Grant
  • Funding Limits: $30,000 / $5,000 lead
  • Conditions/Requirements: Mortgage will be placed on home and 100% will be forgiven after 5 years of homeownership.*
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Whole house – items prioritized to meet standard

Property Maintenance Rehab

  • Funding Type: Grant
  • Funding Limits: $20,000
  • Conditions/Requirements: Must have Property Maintenance code violation.
  • Income Limit: 50% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Work will be completed on violation of house only. No grass or detached garages.

Voluntary Demolition

Applicant: Property Owner

  • Funding Type: Forgivable Grant
  • Funding Limits: $1,500 Min – $30,000 Max
  • Conditions/Requirements: All work will be a grant with mortgage required. Mortgage will be 100% forgiven after 5 years. New Construction is 100% forgiven.
  • Income Limit: 80% AMI
  • Commonly used for: Demolition and clearance of entire parcel
