The City Clerk’s Office works in collaboration with various internal departments, including the Contracts & Procurement Division, Legal and the City Manager’s Office in order to meet and successfully fulfill all legal requirements for approving vendor contracts with the City. The public has the right under the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA) to access public information maintained by local governments. The City Clerk’s office maintains, protects and preserves the official records of the City of Topeka.
