Purpose
The land bank shall serve the public purpose of providing for the orderly, planned and reutilization of abandoned, tax foreclosed or otherwise underutilized properties.

Membership
The Board shall consist of five members who reside within the boundaries of the City or Shawnee County. One member shall be a member of a neighborhood improvement association established pursuant to TMC 2.25.050; one member shall be an employee of the City designated by the city manager; one member shall be a City Council member; and two members shall be At-Large members. Board members shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.Terms of office shall be as follows’ (1) From date appointee was appointed to December 31, 2024; (2) January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025; (3) January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
