The City of Topeka is committed to providing a safe and positive work environment for TWTW employees. The program will comply with the US Department of Labor Fair Standards Act and Child Labor Laws.
TWTW employees are encouraged to enroll for direct deposit through the financial institution of their choice. If you do not have a bank account, you may request a paper paycheck.
Participants are required to work the entire program, June 15th through July 23rd. As an employer, we understand if employees need time off and those situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Each TWTW employee will be allowed up to 5 days off with advanced request and approval without pay during the program.
Dress code: Polo shirts will be provided by the city, jeans without holes and/or rips, slacks, skirts no more than two inches above the knee, comfortable shoes, no flip-flops.
