  • The City of Topeka is committed to providing a safe and positive work environment for TWTW employees. The program will comply with the US Department of Labor Fair Standards Act and Child Labor Laws.
  • TWTW employees are encouraged to enroll for direct deposit through the financial institution of their choice. If you do not have a bank account, you may request a paper paycheck.
  • Participants are required to work the entire program, June 15th through July 23rd. As an employer, we understand if employees need time off and those situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Each TWTW employee will be allowed up to 5 days off with advanced request and approval without pay during the program.
  • Dress code: Polo shirts will be provided by the city, jeans without holes and/or rips, slacks, skirts no more than two inches above the knee, comfortable shoes, no flip-flops.
