CANCELLED – Topeka Human Relations Commission Special Virtual Meeting – August 26, 2020

Meeting cancelled in light of KHRC’s decision to begin accepting complaints of “sex” discrimination  in employment, housing, and public accommodations, and as we await the forthcoming guidance.  It would be more prudent to receive additional information regarding KHRC’s policy and then, at that time, review the state’s policy in comparison to current Topeka Municipal Ordinances and craft any needed NDO updates for the City of Topeka.  The NDO Ordinance will be placed on the September 14 regular meeting agenda for initial discussion.
