Zoological Park | Birds of Prey

The Topeka Zoo is involved with two endangered birds of prey species; American Golden Eagle and the Bald Eagle. The Zoo has successfully raised and introduced captive raised Golden Eagle in the wilds of Kansas.

In 2004, the Topeka Zoo developed new enclosures for the Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles. Both species are protected by federal and state law and found in Kansas.
