Zoological Park | What's New?
The Topeka Zoo is excited to announce their 2006 Master Plan adopted by the City Council in February 2006. The master plan outlines the projects to be developed over the next five (5) years.The buildings indicated in gold are all current structures and all new projects are indicated in blue and numerically marked.
New Projects:
- Animal & Man Phase II (elephants and giraffes expansion) - completed
- Kansas Carnivore (under construction)
- Animals Health Center Expansion - completed
- African Canid Exhibit (hyenas)
- African Primate/Bird Exhibit
- Creatures of the Night (nocturnal animals)
