There are many organizations nationwide
that use telemarketing firms to raise
funds that they allege will help law enforcement
officers. Most of these solicitations
have no affiliation with the Law Enforcement
community in Shawnee County. There are
occasions when the Fraternal Order of
Police or other local organizations make
solicitations with the knowledge and support
of the Topeka Police Department.
Listed below are the organizations that
have contacted the Topeka Police Department
of their desire to raise money through
telephone solicitations. If we receive
information from concerned citizens, we
will also list them on this site. Most
organizations hire a company to make phone
contacts. You may contact the organization
directly at the numbers supplied below.
We recommend that you consider all information
available and if you decide to donate
give only what you can afford.
