Police Department | Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT)

The 5-day CIT Class will be held April 11-15, 2011, at the Law Enforcement Center, 320 S. Kansas Ave. STE 100, Topeka, Kansas. This classes will be held each day in two 4 hours blocks; 8:00 A.M.-12:00 and 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M.
The blocks are listed as follows:

Trauma Informed Care Training: four training sessions at 4 hours per session. Class limit is 50 students. Offered on:
(A) April, 11, 2011, 0800-1200
(B) April 11, 2011,1300-1700
(C) April 12, 2011 0800-1200
(D) April 12, 2011,1300-1700.

Dispatcher Training: four training sessions at 4 hours per session. Class limit is 50 students.
Offered on:
(E) April 13, 2011, 0800-1200
(F) April 13, 2011,1300-1700
(G) April 14, 2011, 0800-1200
(H) April 14, 2011,1300-1700.

Cultural Competency Training: two training sessions at 3 hours per session. Class limit is 30 students. Offered on:
(I) April 15, 2011, 0900-1200 in Classroom ‘A’ of the LEC
(J) April 15, 2011, 1300-1600 at the Shawnee Sheriff Training Facility, 7437 SE California, Berryton, Kansas.

Registration Time: 07:30-08:00 a.m.

Topeka, Kansas (April 15th, afternoon session will be held at the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Training Facility)
