The Topeka Fire Department is now accepting written testing scores for our 2016 testing/hiring process. We will accept scores through June 10, 2016.
All testing is being handled through National Testing Network (NTN) and the test is the FireTeam Firefighter test. Please refer to the job announcement. The FireTeam test can be taken at multiple locations around the country, including the Topeka test facility. Testing locations can be found at National Testing Network Locations.
Topeka Fire Department will pay for the first time an applicant takes the test, the written examination fee is $50. Upon registration, qualified candidates will be emailed a voucher number to redeem on the NTN website to pay for the examination. Only applicants meeting the age requirement and the EMT requirement will be issued a voucher. The voucher is valid only for the Topeka Fire Department test and is not redeemable for any other department in the NTN network. All unused vouchers will expire on June 10, 2016.
