Parking in Topeka is governed by a variety of regulations and overseen by several agencies, including the Topeka Police Department, Code Compliance. However, the primary organization dealing with parking is the Facility Management Division which handles City owned parking garages and lots and maintains and enforces the parking meters downtown. The information on this site is designed to help with all parking questions. If you don't find the answer to your question, please contact us at the numbers listed above.Our Office Hours the Administrative Section office is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Payments for parking garage space rentals, parking meter fines, and parking meter hooding invoices can be made in person during these hours. For after hours payment of parking meter fines, there is a drop box located on 5th Street near the main post office. Payments for monthly parking garage space rentals can be given to the security guard in those garages that have hourly parking available. They are not allowed to accept cash for monthly rentals however.
