Public Works | Lime Hauling Program

The Water Division makes lime residual material available to Contractors for the purpose of hauling and subsequent application on agricultural farm land. A contract between the Contractor (hauler/spreader) and the City must be executed before lime is hauled from our Water Treatment Facility. Proof of adequate liability insurance coverage is required. Contractors are also required to submit certification that the lime was applied according to the terms of the contract before reimbursement is issued by the City.

If you are interested in contracting with the City as a hauler/spreader or would like more information regarding the Lime Hauling Program, please contact our Residuals Facility at 785-368-0160.
