Bottled Water Requests
The City of Topeka Water Treatment Plant does not have the equipment necessary to bottle our water. The Water Treatment Plant does purchase bottled water from a local vendor which uses City of Topeka water in their process. The bottles display our logo for marketing purposes to promote our organization. This bottled water is reserved for delivery to our customers experiencing extended water outages, and for requests from the Mayor or City Manager.

Donations of bottled water from the Water Treatment Plant will only be considered if the City of Topeka is either sponsoring or participating in an event, i.e., Water Festival. Donated bottled water shall not be used for resale purposes. Donations of any surplus bottled water will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Bottled water requests must be submitted in writing to the Angela Horn via fax or email and include the following information:

  • contact name, phone number and address
  • contact’s organization, department, division, etc.
  • name of City-sponsored special event, or name of event where display/booth operated
  • amount of bottled water requested
  • date of pickup (if requested, and staff permitting, delivery by Water Treatment Plant personnel will be permissible).
