The City of Topeka Planning Commission shall consist of 9 members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. At least six (6) but not more than seven (7) persons shall reside within the corporate boundaries of the city and at least two (2) but not more than three (3) persons shall reside outside the corporate limits but within the City's three (3) mile extraterritorial jurisdiction. Three (3) members shall serve 1-year terms; three (3) members shall serve two (2) year terms and three (3) members shall serve three (3) year terms.
