The Current Planning Section handles the day-to-day and short-term actions of the Planning Department including the review of building permits, commercial site plans, and landscape plans. It also reviews and processes numerous zoning related petitions, such as: variances and appeals to the Board of Zoning Appeals, subdivision plats, rezoning's, Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), Conditional Use Permits, and amendments to our zoning regulations. The Current Planning Section provides a Planner of the Day, who is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days, for inquiries on planning, zoning, and subdivision platting matters.
