It’s that time of year again.  The kids are out of school but you don’t get a summer vacation.  If you have an active 6-13 year old who needs a little summer fun, why not try SPORTS CAMP!

At Sports Camp, there is never a dull moment.  Each week our camp staff will lead activities centered around a different sport.  Campers will receive instruction in such sports as basketball, soccer, bowling, football and various net games.  Our staff will develop new skills and improve existing skills.  Not only do we focus on a different sport each week, we have access to the Oakland Pool where we swim every day.  We will also provide nutritious snacks twice each day.  Hurry, only a limited number of registrations available each week.

For additional information, please contact Roger Wilcox at 368-3796 or Rwilcox@topeka.org.

Parents May Choose From Two (2) Options:
  • Option I ($90 resident - $112.50 non-resident). Bus transportation will be provided at two of the neighborhood community centers listed, to and from Oakland Community Center. Children may be brought to the community centers after 7:15am and must be picked up by 5:30pm. A bus schedule will be provided at registration. Transportation pick-up/drop-off times will vary at each center (Central Park and Crestview). Please designate at registration which center you will utilize as a pick-up/drop-off point. The enrollment is limited at each center due to the amount of available space on the busses. If bus space is filled, parents may need to pick-up/drop-off their child at another center or must choose another option. Minimum enrollment must be met at each location requiring transportation. We reserve the right to eliminate a drop-off site if minimum enrollment is not met. NOTE: Children may also be dropped off after 7:15am and picked up before 5:30pm at Oakland Community Center.

  • Option II ($75 resident - $93.75 non-resident). Children may be dropped off at 9:30am and picked up at 4pm at Oakland Community Center.
