Mission Statement: To provide a unique experience for children to learn valuable skills and make new friends through activities that are challenging, educational and down right fun. Camp will provide an opportunity for personal growth, self esteem and friendship building.

Passport to Adventure is located in Crestview Park just west of the Crestview Community Center and is licensed by the State of Kansas. All participants will be required to have a completed Health History Form and an Emergency Care Form in order to attend the licensed program. Please go to www.topeka.org to download the necessary health forms. Additional paperwork and information will also be distributed at registration.

Campers will need to bring daily: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, lunch and a drink, in a cooler (refrigeration is not available).Two nutritional snacks, beverages and admission to special trips and tours is included in the fee.

Summer 2009 Participants were offered two (2) options...
OPTION I ($90 per week Topeka Resident; $112.50per week non-resident): Campers may be brought to the Crestview Shelter House after 7:15 am and picked up NO LATER than 5:30pm There is NO BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR THIS CAMP. See Parent Handbook for further camp information.

OPTION II ($75 per week Topeka Resident; $93.75 per week non-resident): Children may be dropped off at 9:30am and picked up NO LATER than 4pm at the Crestview Shelter House. See Parent Handbook for further information.

2009 Camp Themes Included:
LET’S GET IT STARTED!! – Lets kick off summer right with an action packed first week of PTA. Plenty of games, activities and excitement to get you adrenalin going for the summer. No camp Monday, May 25.

ALL SPACED OUT! – Do you enjoy space and science? Come travel with us as we explore the universe or get wild and wacky with science experiments.

HOLIDAY FLAIR – Can’t wait till the holidays? Then PTA has the week for you. We will be spreading the holiday cheer with a lot of arts, crafts and fun eventful activities.

SUPER SOAKIN’ – Get you bucket of water ready for water week! We’ll enjoy a wet and wild week of water games, pool time, and super soakin’ fun. You’ll cherish the classics water balloon tosses, dry, dry wet, and the always fun, ships and sailors.

ART IN THE PARK – Campers, come and find the creative side in you. Counselors will help you bring out your creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, music and dance. 1st Family Fun Night will be June 26.

JULY 2 ROCKIN’ IN THE USA – We will bring out the hero in everyone and let your American Spirit shine as we celebrate the 4th of July and all the great heroes who make up our great country! Plenty of arts, crafts, and games that will help celebrate the 4th of July. No camp on Friday, July 3.

COMMERCIAL FREE – Turn off the TV, drop the remote and get off the couch. There are no commercials here at PTA. Participate in our own reality week.

GO FOR THE GOLD – Better bring your “A” game for this week. We will have activities for all types of athletes and sports fans. Lace up you shoes, get warmed up and ready to go for the gold.

ARTIC BLAST – Grab your mittens and ear muffs. We are beating the heat with water games and activities that are played in the winter.

REACHING FOR THE STARS – It is movie week. Time to bring out the best in our campers. Let’s get our “A” game on and reach for the stars!!! 2nd Family Fun Night will be July 30.

TIME OF YOUR LIFE –Yep it is our last week. We had a great summer and would like to take a week to reflect and participate in the counselors' favorite activities of the summer.
