The City of Topeka’s Park Department is a very vital element of our community. Staff works very hard to improve the quality of life by providing safe, enjoyable, and attractive parks and facilities, with diverse programs and efficient and responsive services, which enhance neighborhoods and encourage citizens to view the department as a valued investment in their daily lives. This is accomplished through recreational programs developed for youth, adults, seniors and special needs populations and through the development of partnerships and contract services.
