The Hillcrest Community Center, located on the East Side of Topeka, has been serving people of all ages with classes, programs, and special events since 1977. Activities include sports, fitness activities, crafts, preschool programs, computer classes, youth activities, and seasonal activities.
Hillcrest also serves as a community hall, a meeting place for various groups and can be rented for personal parties, special occasions, and receptions. We have several rooms, tables and chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. Hillcrest also has a community officer and a satellite clinic of the Shawnee County Health Agency.
Hillcrest Community Center has a beautiful park that surrounds the building. The park includes three outdoor basketball courts, a tennis court, playground equipment, outdoor open air shelter house, an outdoor pool, and a soccer field.
