To top it all off, you will get a shot at soaking your favorite counselor in the dunk tank! Bring a swimsuit and towel and be prepared to get wet!
July 5-8 Experience History Week:
During our natural history week, we will be creating fossils, building our own bug boxes to collect and study bugs and putting on our archaeological hats to go on our very own excursion. This week will wrap up with field trips to historic sites to discover more about Kansas history
July 11-15 Blast from the Past Week
Do you like to sing or dance? Have you ever wanted to be a part of your favorite movie? Whether it’s Indiana Jones, Camp Rock, Batman or High School Musical, you’ll find something you love this week! You can select a specific time period or you can come up with an outfit from your favorite idol. Each day of the week, celebrate a new decade and incorporate food, music and entertainment.
July 18-22 Exploring Nature Week
We will hike along area nature trails, streams and ponds that Topeka has. We will investigate aquatic and terrestrial life that is dependent on these water bodies. We will create water/nature related art and conduct simple H2O experiments which will be cool…especially during hot and humid summer days. We might get wet, too!
