Gymnasium:
Central Park is one of four community centers to have beautiful hardwood floors. With the largest gym in the city, Central Park is equipped with 2 indoor volleyball courts with electric motor nets, portable aluminum bleachers, a half court divider net and six electric motor basketball goals for your full court and half court pleasure.
Meeting Rooms
Central Park offers three large meeting rooms that are used for many community functions as well as public receptions.
- Art Room (60 max capacity);
- Room 101 (75 max capacity);
- Room 1 (100 max capacity) (may be rented separately or with kitchen).
Kitchen
Central park has a spacious full utility kitchen, attached to Room 1. Our kitchen is equipped with four sinks, dishwasher, garbage disposal, three large counters, microwave, commercial electric stove, two refrigerators, a freezer, and an icemaker.
Game Room
Central Park has a large lobby game room with two pool tables, a ping pong table, a foosball table, small sitting area, 55” big screen TV, video games and 4 vending machines.
Weight Room
The weight room at Central Park is equipped with a Universal Weight Machine, two stationary bikes, a treadmill, 27” TV, a punching bag, and free weights. Best of all it’s free to the public.
Fishing Pond / Park
In Central Park there is a scenic fishing pond (regularly stocked), lots of outdoor lighting, a paved walking trail around the pond, an open-air shelter with grilling equipment for family picnics and other group functions and fun playground equipment for the kids.
Tennis Courts
Central Park also has 9 lighted tennis courts adjacent to Central Park Community Center, located behind Robinson Middle School.
