Central Park Community Center is centrally located in Topeka, near Washburn University and the Kansas Expo Center. We offer a variety of fun activities and classes for youth and adults. Employment Opportunities
Central Park’s facility includes three spacious meeting rooms, a large gymnasium with a hardwood floor, a game room and a weight room equipped with both free weights and a universal weight machine. Also located within the Central Park facility are the Parks and Recreation of Topeka’s Athletics office and Senior Adults office and the Shawnee County Maternal & Infant Clinic. All three offices are located in the lower level of the community center.
Central Park Community Center meeting rooms can be rented for private functions such as birthday parties, retirement banquets, wedding receptions, and other special occasions.
Central Park also includes a scenic fishing pond, walking trail and an open-air shelter for family picnics and other group functions.
