26th great summer of outdoor fun!!
"NO CHILD LEFT INSIDE"
Looking for a fun and safe environment for your kids this summer? Another summer is quickly approaching and it's time to make plans for a summer of fun activities and good friends. We keep really busy doing a wide variety of challenging and interesting units: sports and games, crafts, lots of silly camp songs, creative dramatics, canoeing, archery and even roller skating once a week. And most importantly, we will SWIM every day (weather permitting). Many of our camp staff will be returning this summer with their crazy nicknames. The following testimonials are from previous years:
"This camp is a fun and safe place for many children in Topeka to spend their summers."
"The variety of activities and special events such as the carnival, peace rally and prom have made this such a fun summer for my child."
Most activities take place at beautiful and spacious Gage Park. Our camp philosophy emphasizes "old fashioned" camp values, safety and FUN. For additional information, please call Lynn Bishop at 368-2448 or e-mail lbishop@topeka.org. Campers may sign up for all 11 weeks or choose any of the following sessions:

- June 2-6
- June 9-13
- June 16-20
- June 23-27
- June 30-July 3 (no camp July 4)

Campers Will Need To Bring Daily:
swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, lunch and a drink in a cooler (refrigeration is not available). Campers should mark their name on all belongings.
All participants will be required to have a completed Health History Form in order to attend the licensed program. An Emergency Care Form with detailed information (insurance policy name and #, physician information, etc.) is also required. Please go to www.topeka.org to download the necessary health forms. Additional paperwork and information will also be distributed at registration.
Camp Fee Includes: transportation and extended care for Option I, daily nutritional snacks and beverages, admissions to special activities, as well as supplies for daily programs.
Parents May Choose From Two (2) Options:
Option I ($90 resident - $112.50 non-resident). Bus transportation will be provided at three of the neighborhood community centers listed, to and from Gage Park. Children may be brought to the community centers after 7:15am and must be picked up by 5:30pm. A bus schedule will be provided at registration. Transportation pick-up/drop-off times will vary at each center (Central Park, Oakland and Crestview). Please designate at registration which center you will utilize as a pick-up/drop-off point. The enrollment is limited at each center due to the amount of available space on the bus and staff/child ratio. If bus space is filled, parents may need to pick-up/drop-off their child at another center or must choose another option. Minimum enrollment must be met at each location requiring transportation. We reserve the right to eliminate a drop-off site, if minimum enrollment is not met.
Option II ($75 resident - $93.75 non-resident). Children may be dropped off at 9:30am and picked up at 4pm at Big Gage Shelter, Gage Park.
